Handling Failed Payments

What happens when a payment fails.

Why Payments Fail

Common reasons:

  • Expired card

  • Insufficient funds

  • Card declined by bank

  • Incorrect billing information

When Payment Fails

  1. Immediate notification: Email sent about failure

  2. Grace period: Usually 3-7 days to resolve

  3. Retry attempts: System retries automatically

  4. Access continues: During grace period

Resolving Failed Payments

  1. Check your email for failure notification

  2. Go to Profile → Subscription → Billing

  3. Update payment method or add new card

  4. Or resolve issue with your bank

  5. Payment will retry automatically

After Resolution

Once payment succeeds:

  • Subscription continues normally

  • Credits are added

  • No interruption to service

Prolonged Failure

If payment isn't resolved:

  • Subscription may be suspended

  • Access to generation is paused

  • Account data is preserved

  • Resubscribe to restore access
