OTP (One-Time Password) codes are valid for 10 minutes for security purposes. If your code expires, here's what to do.
During Account Registration
If your verification code expired while creating an account:
On the OTP entry screen, click Resend OTP
A new 6-digit code will be sent to your email
Check your email including spam folder
Enter the new code within 10 minutes
During Password Reset
If your password reset code expired:
Go back to the Forgot Password screen
Enter your email address again
Click Send Reset Code
A fresh code will be sent to your email
Complete the password reset promptly
Multiple OTPs Sent
If you requested multiple OTPs: Only the most recent OTP is valid Previous codes are automatically invalidated Always use the latest code you received
Tips to Avoid OTP Expiration
Have your email ready: Open your email inbox before requesting the OTP Check spam folder: OTP emails sometimes end up in spam Act quickly: Enter the code as soon as you receive it Request one at a time: Wait for the current OTP to arrive before requesting another
Security Note
Never share your OTP with anyone Hooc staff will never ask for your OTP OTPs are single-use and expire after 10 minutes If you didn't request an OTP, someone may be trying to access your account - consider changing your password
OTP Not Arriving?
If you're not receiving OTP emails:
Check spam/junk folder - OTP emails are sometimes filtered
Verify email address - Make sure you entered the correct email
Wait a few minutes - Email delivery can sometimes be delayed
Check email filters - Ensure emails from Hooc aren't being blocked
Try again - Click Resend OTP after waiting at least 1 minute
